API 16 Sucker Rod BOP Oil Well 2 7/8" x 5000psi Polish Rod BOP
The Sucker Rod BOPs, when installed on the top tubing or x-mas tree, are to give positive protection against blow outs, when operating with sucker rods / polished rods in workover operations, by providing positive seal around the sucker rod/polish rod. Also, BOP shall be dressed with 3/4” rams & all other rams sizes shall be supplied as accessories.
General of the Sucker Rod BOP
* The equipment shall be new and unused.
* The BOP shall be suitable for 5000psi working pressure.
* The test pressure (body) shall be 7500psi.
* The equipment will be processed for corrosion protection.
* The equipment should be supplied complete, in ready to use condition.
* The BOP design should be such that it should be easy to clean and redress the BOP at the well site
Structure of polished rod BO 3 1/2" x 5000 psi Polished rod BOP
The BOPs shall be manually operated, single ram BOP types.
The body, Flange, RAM, cap and screw shall be made of suitable alloy steel meeting to applicable API 5CT/6A.
The BOPs shall be suitable for well temperatures ranging from -20º F to 200º F.
The BOPs should be suitable for handling sucker rod of various sizes such as 3/4", 7/8”, 1” and polish rod of size 1-1/2”.
