Tubing head adapter is a kind of wellhead adapter flange, normally, the tubing head adapter used on the top of the tubing head and creates a transition between the tubing head and the Christmas treeit . The bottom connection of the adapter matches the tubing head, and the top connection matches the X-MAS tree. Tubing head adapters are available for all types of single and multi-string completions, including those using ESP penetrator, packers, down hole control valves and gas lift valves.
